Tip of the Day

You can usually take your flash mount and combine it with your monopod (assuming you have one). This allows you to get some fun off camera flash shots without needing to set up a light stand or have anybody hold the flash.

My night

I think I am the only one crazy enough to go out in cold weather, while i'm sick, in the middle of the night and in the middle of nowhere to take pictures. The other night I went to dog creek (ok, maybe not that far from civilization) and took a few photos of the bridge with full moonlight.

Tip of the Day

For a few bucks at your local supermarket or auto store you can purchase a car sun reflector. When shooting in harsh sunlight you can use this reflector to fill in the shadow side of the subject to give you a little more depth. Notice the lack of harsh shadows the left side when the sun is coming from the right

Old School

On My way back from Durango I went past this school. I thought it was shoot worthy

Tip of the Day

When Trying to get detail out of flat objects, put the flash almost directly next to the object to extract the detail of what you are shooting.
