My trip to Madison Part 2

I realized that I never posted the rest of my photos from the trip to Madison. Here are two more. The pointy building is a Frank Lloyd Wright Unitarian Church. Its not a unique angle but I got the sun at a good time.

Turtle Bay Exploration Park

Just finished some work for The Turtle Bay Exploration Park. I'm working on a series of HDR photographs for TB use. Man, I have to admit, this place is really cool. It has all kinds of stuff from animal shows to gardens with plants from all over the world.

Speaking of AP photo

Crystal Creek Falls

A friend of mine (Ron Lute) had a waterfall workshop at whiskeytown national park. I stopped by to be part of the fun and shot the same falls as everyone else. Its hard to get something original when everyone is getting the same thing

Heather and Hille

This great couple is Heather and Hille. They were super fun to photograph and we just had a blast down in Anderson, CA.

Living on Empty

I just got to photograph the band Living On Empty . They are a really fun band to shoot and listen too. If you are into some heavier music then give them a try.

Samuel

This is Samuel. He wanted something a little different for some portraits. He was great to work with.

San Fran

A few friends and I went to the "20th anniversary of Photoshop" party in San Fransisco. This party was put on by the NAPP . It was a great event with some fun information about the new CS5 or CS: next that Adobe is working on right now. While we were there I was able to get a few fun images of the city. We werent there for very long but I think it paid off enough.

The Shasta Bally

I went out the other day and shot shasta Bally in Redding California. It was great fun and really exciting.

Emily and Justin

I went out today and shot some engagement photos for Emily and Justin. We went to the old Shasta City Ruins and had some fun. It gave me a great opportunity to shoot the other side of the street. I haven't shot there much but it was worth it. You can see a few more of these photos HERE.

Portrait workshop

Went and stopped by a Mark Behrens workshop today. Mark is a great photographer and teacher of all things photography. While I was there I took the opportunity to get a few shots off. You can see more of my shots right here.

Cleer Creek

I went to clear creek the other day and had the craziest experience. I had to cross a creek to get to the falls. Unfortunately for me, it rained the day before and that little creek became a torrent of raging water. Anyway, in true Aaron form, I forded the creek and got to the other side. While walking across the rocks, I stepped into a mud pit and broke my sandal. I went on and took some shots and on my way back (barefoot) I realized I had to cross a field of thorny bushes, a creek with sharp rocks and sticks and walk a long way back to the car on a gravel trail. Me and Ansel Adams

I took this shot while roaming the Wisconsin countryside. When I saw this dramatic sky unveil in front of me it made me think of Ansel. I think Ansel has been one of the biggest visual influences in my photography. I know that he played around and "manipulated" the images in the dark room but the great thing about his photographs are they make amazing photographs even without the manipulation. Anyway, enjoy.

Nothing like an abandoned farm in the morning

During my latest trip to Madison Wisconsin, my "uncle" Michael Roberts and I went and ran around the countryside. He took me to this old abandoned farm that was just right off the road. I was a little hesitant because it was cold and the snow was a little deep. Nothing was inherently wrong with deep snow and cold but combine that with the fact I was wearing thin socks and sneakers and that created mixed emotions.
